This is advertised as a waffle maker, but it is not. There is not a ridge or waffle involved. It is a pancake form of Mickey Mouse. The old version which was discontinued was a waffler, and photo they use shows the waffle that the previous item produced. The new Mickey Mouse Waffler would not show up well since there is no depth to the facial features, and there is only a hint of an outline of the face of Mickey Mouse.

If you truly want a waffle maker this is not one.

This product is a lot of fun.

A bell would be nice to tell you when it's done but no big deal. Shouldn't be walking out of the kitchen with something like this on anyway. You do hear a click when the light turns on.

We use a large water bottle to dispense the batter. That way you can squeeze it out of a small opening and distribute it evenly.

I used this waffle iron for my son's birthday. Not only does it make the cutest waffles, but they're perfectly done every time, and it's unbelievably easy to clean. With the red ready-light, there's no guess work. The handle stays cool, but the rest of the iron doesn't, so be sure to keep curious little hands away!

My wife had wanted a Mickey Waffle Iron for 13 years. I was too cheap to pay the $50-$60 that Disney was wanting for them. I found them on Amazon much cheaper, and have been impressed with the quality. Works better than any waffle iron we have ever had!!!

We received this waffle iron for a Christmas prestent almost 5 years ago. We've pretty much used it every Sunday since receiving it. It makes wonderful waffles, and the image of Mickey is very cute. But I have to admit, the waffles come out more like Mickey "cakes" than like true waffles. The waffles come out golden brown and evenly cooked in 4 minutes. My kids like to pour syrup in his ears and make a mustache and beard with whipped cream.

Not just a novelty toy, this waffler makes perfect Mickey-shaped waffles within minutes. Fun to make and eat; not just for kids. Red indicator light tells you when to start baking and when the waffle is done. Easy to clean and store. Only drawback is that, because of the smooth surface pattern, the waffle seems more of a pancake texture than a crisp thick traditional waffle.

I love it! My family had just gone to Disney World and my sister`s favourite food was the Mickey mouse waffles. When we left she wouldn`t stop telling us about them I was thrilled when I found out they sell the irons to the public. All I can say is it makes breakfast pleasurable and enjoyable for everyone even my sister!!!!!

My 3 year old loves having Mickey waffles. Well, in our house we use it with pancake mix. It works great either way. It is a little tricky getting the hang of removing the waffle from the iron, but it's not that difficult. I only dropped one!

We went on a Disney cruise recently and my children had Mickey waffles almost every day for breakfast. I checked online to see if they had the same wafflemaker, but this one was just as good. My children love having Mickey Mouse waffles. I make them at least once a week. It's easy to use, easy to clean and the waffles are ready in about 90-120 seconds. They also give you some recipes for specialty waffles. I would recommend this wafflemaker to anyone who enjoys Mickey!

Using this waffler has become a Saturday morning tradition at our house. Cooks evenly, produces nice waffles. The only drawback is that it takes awhile to cook a family batch of waffles, so we use an additional (regular) waffler as well, to speed things up.
