This review is from: The Village in the Treetops (Fitzroy Edition) (Vintage Ace H-67) (Mass Market Paperback)
Although the lesser known works of authors are usually lesser known for a reason, this one is a hidden gem. It is a good adventure about explorers in Africa who come upon a semi-civilized population of ape-men. Inspired by Darwin, it was an amusing story and far more interesting than many of Verne's novels.
