I love, love, love this kitchen tool. Although I can't compare it to any other Spaetzle maker since this is the first one I have ever tried using, I can not see why you would need to spend more money on the higher end tools. This works great. i spray it with olive oil and then go to town dropping the dough through it. It sits perfectly across my pot. Then I just throw it into my dishwasher and it always comes out spotless. I am very happy with it!

Bought this for my granddaughter who loves spaetzle as we all do. Nice quality and withstands a lot of use. Slides easily and is easy to use!!
