A wonderful complement to the other tableware pieces in the French Garden line, this graceful teapot serves four. Measuring 5-1/2 inches wide, 6-3/4 inches tall, and 8-3/4 inches from handle to spout, the teapot stands on a small base and is decorated with lemons, cherries, plums, apples, and cherry blossoms, while laurel leaves ring the mouth of the vessel. A rounded finial, resembling a lemon, tops off the lid and is surrounded by four leaves sculpted in low relief. Crafted from vitrified porcelain to ensure durability, all Villeroy & Boch tableware pieces are resilient enough to be placed in the dishwasher and microwave. Beautiful but poorly designed teapot. The lid sits too high and has a rim that is too narrow to keep it in the top of the teapot - you have to hold it while you pour or risk it falling out. Ok if you only want it for decoration.
