I purchased these over 6 months ago and there are no scratches or chips on any of them. I have 2 teens that load and unload our dishwasher and I bought this set so that I could replace any broken pieces easily (I have a Villeroy retail shop close by). They have shown no signs of wear and we use them everyday. I would give them a 10 rating if I could.

I was a little worried about ordering breakables through the mail, but the dishes were very securely packed and arrived intact. Such a pretty little set of dishes. Pattern is colorful and organized, and saved a lot of money on amazon.

Our fifty piece set arrived with two broken dinner plates. Amazon was absolutely splendid in handling this by allowing us to simply purchase two plates from our local Macy's store. They credited us the full amount. Customer service like this cannot be beat. The set is totally beautiful, and meets our needs perfectly! We wanted something cheerful and lively, but not "goo-goo" and not overdone. For anyone who loves Mondrian's artwork, well, this is the set for you! The colors coordinate beautifully with a variety of other kinds of serving ware, French porcelain casserole dishes and is gorgeous with our Ralph Lauren crystal in a geometric pattern. We'll be buying service pieces as we go along, and love having open stock. I banged one plate against the faucet today, and it did not chip! I think this is pretty strong china, which is necessary in our household. We love gorgeous things, but, man, are we clumsy sometimes! If what you're after is something beautiful, durable, cheerful and also something you could dress up for the most important dinner of your lifetime, well, this is probably a good choice.

I purchased this set months ago. First, they were wrapped and shipped really well; not a dish arrived broken. The dishes are dishwasher safe. They are very pretty, and we get frequent compliments on these dishes. This was one of the smarter dinnerware sets I have bought, for the price, beauty, and long-lastingness. To date, not one dish has cracked, chipped, or broken (an amazing thing in this household!). We are still happy with this dinnerware set and continue to enjoy using them.

I just received this set from Amazon. Since I use Prime shipping I added $3.95 and got it in less than 24 hours!
Very nice looking, light, quality dishes without noticeable defects. The packaging was very solid. In fact I reused it to store my old set.
The add on this site indicates more saturated colors than is accurate. It took me a couple of days to get used to the colors which are more muted than I expected. I have now decided that I prefer the colors as they are produced more than the photographed colors. The set is lively and complete. Now for some extra serving dishes....

The items arrived just as described and depicted. It was an easy transaction. Villeroy and Boch produces lovely and fun china. Many of V & B's sets are colorful and whimsical. We are very pleased with this purchase as it can be used both for everyday and special occasions.

This set is absolutely beautiful. They are so cheery and elegant at the same time. The only negative is that design on the dinner plate raises the sides so the plate is not completely flat. BTW really quick shipping too!

I've had this dinnerware set for a month or so, and am delighted. It's very light but durable, and holds up really well. It doesn't show knife scratches from cutting, and it's strong. I use it everyday, and it holds up to dishwasher use and hand washing too. I love the design and how food looks on it. It's packed very well for shipping, and mine arrived in perfect condition.

We had a set on our wedding registry and completely enjoyed it. We also bought a lot of the accessories, like serving platters. We then saw this set on Amazon and bought it for ourselves. It's elegant enough to be wedding china but has barely scratched after 5 years of daily use and HAS NOT BROKEN yet! We are somewhat careful with them but not super-careful. They don't chip either, unlike most of my other ceramic wares. I can't recommend this highly enough. The colors are whimsical but well thought out and bring every meal to life.

I received the set very quickly after our order. It arrived in perfect condition, very nicely packed an exactly what we expected. Nothing was broken. Each peace is of a great quality and the color is very cheerful. We really enjoy it.
