not vindication for the price,

For true fans of Dashboard Confessional, this is nothing new. The only reason to buy this would be just to say you own it. "Vindicated" is an amazing song, granted; but most DC fans already have it through. . .less reputable means. "Warmth of The Sand" also is quite good. It also appears on a Vagrant Records comp called Another Year of The Streets Vol 3. That comp also has great songs by bands such as Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids, The New Amsterdams, and Hot Rod Circuit. In total is has 15 tracks, but it's a hit and miss comp. This version of "Hands Down" is on the So Impossible EP, which also includes three other amazing songs ("For You To Notice," "So Impossible," and "Remember To Breathe"). What I would suggest instead of buying this single would be to download "Vindicated," buy Another Year On The Streets Vol 3, and buy the So Impossible EP. That way, you'll be getting a lot more for your money.

The best day I can ever remember...,
This review is from: Vindicated (Audio CD)
I bought this CD because I love both "Hands Down" and "Vindicated". And "The Warmth of the Sand" is a catchy little (acoustic) track too. =)
I was a bit surprised when I heard "Hands Down". This version of "Hands Down" is NOT the same as the one on "A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar". It just has Chris singing along with an acoustic guitar. I think it might be the same as the one from the "So Impossible" EP...sure sounds like it from the sample clip. So, is it worth the price? There are some CDs from Amazon's Marketplace sellers that look pretty affordable. I bought mine for under $10 shipped and I'm really happy with it. Okay, back to listening to more Dashboard!

It's All About Track 2,

The other songs you can get on other albums. As far as I know, "The Warmth of the Sand" is only available on this album. And, honestly, it's one of my favorite songs written by Dashboard. Now, it's not worth the price of the CD, so I might suggest getting it through... other means. But, it is an amazing song.

Who doesn't love this song?,
This review is from: Vindicated (Audio CD)
If you already love Dashboard, why do you need a review? If you don't know Dashboard, this is as good a place as any to start. They started all acoustic-y, and now they're all rock band-y, and this was right around that time the transition was made. This disc contains a little acoustic song, and a little rock anthem-y heartache song. Not the best example of either from this band, but a good start if you're looking to start getting your Carabba on.
