Traditional cajun music, recorded by Beausoleil before the rock influence started to show through, Vintage Beausoleil may be a little dry for some folks' taste, but it is honest, charming, and ultimately satisfying. A nice collection to have available.

I've owned this CD for several years now and it's a must have for Beausoleil fans. The best on here is #1 which is just gorgeous music, #9 which is Quoi'Y A Toi, from "Looking Back Tommorow", the first time I heard it, my heart raced and still one of my all time favorite songs from Beausoleil. And of course, Take It to Me, the most romantic and simply beautiful fiddling also.
