- This film puts an artsy spin on a day in the life of Coney Island. There is a lot of great color footage of the rides and rollercoasters, as well as the various leisure activities available at Coney Island, including the throngs of beachgoers and the mysterious nighttime festival atmosphere. This is a wonderful compliment to the 1940s film, and shows a different angle of the area.
