About the Author

Susan Cropper's passion for knitting, crochet and textiles led to the opening of Loop in London in July 2005. Trusting in her creative instincts Susan conceived the kind of shop she wanted to be able to go to â?? one that is warm and friendly, sells fabulous yarns, has great pattern support and knowledgeable, helpful staff. Loop was voted one of the top 100 shops in London by Time Out magazine, as well as one of the hottest shops by Elle Decoration. Originally from New York, Susan studied Textile Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and gained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts, New York. For the past 20 years she has worked as an Art Director and Designer for major UK publications and companies in both home and lifestyle areas. She lives in London with her husband and three children.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews

6 of 7 people found the following review helpful By Lynda Jo Sink on September 6, 2008
Format: Hardcover
The sweater shown on the front cover is lovely but everything else in the book is mediocre. I have enough patterns for shawls, scarves, afghans and pillows. I was hoping the book would have more garments.
