Perfect case for 20 watches, the only downfall is you cant find them any more. They do still sell the one that holds 10. I need a few more of the 20. This is the only box on the web that fits large watches on the top and bottom. Most say they are for XL watches but they dont fit in the bottom drawer, a box needs three inches height on any bottom row for that drawer to close, trust me I have sent plenty of them back, this is the only one.

Got this because I hate having to have loose watches lying around in my drawer. This case is quite beautiful, glass top instead of plexi or other similar material. The color of the case is a nice, deep brown with very subtle reddish highlighting. Overall, a good purchase for any watch collector. As stated, it has high clearance so it will hold large 40-50mm chrono type watches. The pillows are sufficient, and can be removed to store things like cufflinks and other accessories.

Two criticisms I can come up with, though both are relatively minor:

1- the lid is heavy, which is an indication of material quality, but without any type of buffer between the lid and the rest of the case, you'll have to slowly let the lid down as as not to slam the lid and risk breaking glass. Something like a simple air/hydraulic/spring suspension would have gone a long way for quality

2- the bottom drawer has some left to right wobble, meaning that there is probably more clearance than it needs to go in and out. Not a big deal, and doesn't seem to interfere with usage.

If you need a quality case that has room to accomodate your growing horology collection, this is a great choice.
