This pretty necklace is vintage circa 1982. It was handcrafted by a South American artisan and I purchased a collection of similarly made pieces that I am listing. It is fashioned from carved horn and bone. The necklace measures 19 inches long but will fit a 16 inch neck. The bone section measures 6 inches long and 1 2/8 inches at the widest. It is in very good condition. The necklace is light as a feather as it is not backed with wood or any other heavy substance, it feels like tortoise shell.
