I would have given this 4 stars but there are only 36:14 minutes of music on this CD, and that's a rip-off. (And the music industry wonders why people download from the Internet rather than pay for the CD.) Okay, after the rant, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the songs. Bolton has a great voice for these classics.

Michael has hit a homerun with this album. He's recorded some wonderful songs from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. His voice is soulful as ever and it draws you into each and every song. What a wonderful addition to his catalog of albums! This is a "must have" for anyone looking for that perfect romantic, mood setting CD.

Congratulations on another outstanding album of Michael Bolton. Great selection of songs! Michael`s vocals on "Vintage" are some of the best he has ever sung........every note so clear and with so much feeling! It`s a fact: He is one of the most talented musicians in our time. This album shows just how versatile Michael can be with his amazing voice. I think he has made one of his best records.
I highly recommend it!!!

We all know what narrow minded critics always write about Michael Bolton, most of the time without listening his new release... With this new album of covers from The Great American Songbook (as would say Rod Stewart...), I urge them to listen BEFORE criticizing, as they may very well change their mind, and finally recognize that Michael Bolton deserves to be acknowledeged for what he is : a very gifted vocalist, with one of the most amazing male voices in pop music... Sure, 10 years back, as he was in the full glory of his superstar days, Michael went sometimes too far with his voice, straining it more than needed on occasion and making too much use of the exceptionnal power of his vocal chords. But here, he has found the perfect balance between control and power, without losing anything of the fascinating tone and color of his voice. Tackling such amabitious material as "All The Way", "Summertime", "The Very Thought Of You" and "At Last", Michael Bolton delivers a very fine and elegant record of jazz-inflected classic tunes. It's all brushes, piano, acoustic guitar and an orchestra here and Michael's voice gently makes it way through these chestnuts, writtent by gershwin, Oscar Hammerstein, Ray Noble, and others. A brilliant album, for fans, but also for lovers of good music. If you like Barbra Streisand, Tony Benett, or the young Michael Bublé, this one is for you. Give it a try : you won't be disappointed, and you are bound to realize what an incredible artist, Michael Bolton indeed is !

This album is one of Michael Bolton's finest works. It is filled with soulful vocals that chill you to the core. Each song is a new adventure and Michael takes the listener on a fantastic ride. I haven't taken this CD out of my player since I took off the plastic. Great job Michael!!!

Michael Bolton is a very talented singer, songwriter, tenor, and entertainer. I have tried, but I cannot find anyone else who can catch my attention like Michael can. Michael's voice has gotten better with time. When Michael gained popularity in the 80's and 90's his voice was a bit of a higher pitch. Now, especially after "My Secret Passion" The Voice has gained power and balance. I recently saw Michael in concert and he performed some of the old hits like Time, Love and Tenderness. The power in his voice made the old hits even better. I heard that he will be releasing a live album next. I hope the modified versions of these old songs are on them.

On a separate note, Ever notice how the negative reviews are all focused around Michaels looks? I know most of these reviewers are guys- - What's the matter? Jealous?

Guys - Dont you wish you'd look this good at 52?

Keep up the great work Michael.

I have never been a Michael Bolton fan. I stumbled upon one of these tracks on itunes and have fallen in loved with the entire album. The selection of songs and their presentation have allowed me to hear something I have never heard before - Michael Bolton is a tremendous vocalist- not only can the man sing- but his voice is as emotionally captivating as it is enthralling and deep and rich with none of his previously irritating pop lyrics or mousy sound. I highly recommend this album as I can't stop listening to it. I esp. like his versions of If I Could and When I Fall In Love. I disagree with the reviewers who feel this is too short. Every song on this album is a winner. That's more than worth the cost to me. Bravo, Michael. I hope he continues in this genre.

What can I say about Michael Bolton. He has the Best Voice in the world, such passion. Put that together with these great old songs and you have a magical combination. Michael can sing anything from opera to country and make it his own. I usually like newer songs like his last album, but this one has me singing all the great classics and loving them. Michael Bolton is a great artist, the best in my opinion, as well as a great songwriter and humanitarian.
