This book is a gem. Detailed listings, beautiful pictures. I'm not even planning on going to Paris anytime soon and I still loved it; if only to dream! Would be a great travel companion to actually shop with in Paris. These shops would be fun to just stumble upon; yet again, so nice to have a guide to these treasures of times past.

A positively dreamy book - I found in the the Metropolitan Museum of Art bookstore and couldn't put it down - had to have it. It's not exactly a 'take with you to Paris' book. but you'll be taking your copious notes instead with all the inside leads and tips.
Nicely organized around groups of arrondissements rather than one by one, so you can create your own little day tours. A MUST have in my opinion. |
