This is a great looking light, but at 60 watts, it's a little too bright to appreciate the vintage appearance. If it were dimmer (say a 40W), you might be able to enjoy the old-style filament design, but at 60W, it's just too bright to look at. However, if you need a very bright vintage bulb, this should do the trick.

And, it seems to not put out what the specifications state. So be wary. It looks cool, retro and just like I wanted. But in the end I am not using it as the output is too low. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice bulbs - and look very good in our kitchen
We have hung black cords from the ceiling in our kitchen and used these bulbs - really like them. The bulbs have been being used for about a year now - no burnouts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Bulb.
Great reproduction bulb. Looks nice. The 60 watt output is not quite as bright as a conventional incandescent, but has a nice warm glow.
