Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Take a Gamble(R) is creating a whole new board game craze! It's challenging, it's fun, it's a roller coaster ride! It's "Vegas in a Box". This board game presents all Players with an opportunity to improve their gambling skills while challenging their knowledge and ability to develop winning game strategies. The Player at the end of the game with the most money in poker chips is the winner. In Take a Gamble(R) a Player rolls two dice and lands on a game square and then all Players place bets and play a card game, dice game or a game of chance. Games like Black Jack, 5-Dice Poker, Player's (Texas Hold'em), Roll For The Jackpot, 5-Card-Draw Poker, Gambler's Row or you just might draw a Take A Gamble card. The game is unlimited in play and is fast paced action and fun for novices and more experienced Players. Roll the dice *place your bets and let the action begin! Good Luck!

Product Description

Take a Gamble is a fast-paced game that actually incorporates five different games of chance into one. The game board is set up Monopoly-style (smaller squares around the edge of a square game board). Each space is labeled with a different Las Vegas-style gambling game and a few offer you the opportunity to draw a "Take a Gamble" card. The main games are 5-Dice Poker (similar to Yahtzee), Pecos-5-Card Draw Poker, 7-11 (aka Craps), Blackjack and a couple of original dice games called Gambler's Row and Roll for the Jackpot. The Take a Gamble cards contain small bets, such as cutting the deck of cards, whoever draws the highest card gets $15 in chips from another player. As the players move around the board, they play all of these games and have the opportunity to make bets and side bets on the outcomes of the various games. The game ends at either a predetermined time or when one player has taken all of the chips. It's an excellent way to put a spin on Poker Night, or board game night, for that matter. The constant switching of games is smoother than you might imagine, and keeps the game interesting and exciting. There is little to no downtime in this game, all players are kept constantly involved.

If you like to play poker and gamble, but don't like playing the same hand over and over again like my family, this game is for you. Its is actually many games in one: when you play you never know what type of game you will be playing. The first time you play is the educational/introduction...the next time you play it moves really fast! Why did it take so long for this type of game to come out? What is next for this company?

This game is so much fun! A bunch of my friends get together periodically and make a night out of it. This game is perfect for my group of friends because the guys really like the gambling aspect and it really makes them upset if the ladies win!
