If you look at a larger picture of the box you'll see all the components of this game: A playing board, four dice racks, 16 dice, and a lot of wooden blocks. Meant for two or four players, players use their dice to decide how they want their view of the completed city to appear. Once this decision has been made, the wooden blocks are placed on the gameboard, one at a time, by each player in turn. The blocks represent buildings; the shape of the city after the final block has been placed determines each player's score for that round. Each round only takes a few minutes to play and score. The game can be played to a time limit, to a score limit, or for a given number of rounds.
The rules are short and to the point, and clearly describe the setup, play, and scoring process. The game itself plays very quickly and can easily be taught to young children; my 9-year old is the best player in the family. It's not very educational unless you consider the planning and strategy portion of the game, but even this aspect is very abstract. The durability should be very high provided you don't lose any pieces; the box is very sturdy and all the playing pieces are made of solid wood.
