This quality Sterling Silver compass locket has an ornate hinged cover that opens to reveal 5/8 inch (16 mm) diameter working compass. The locket weighs 0.26 ounces (7.5 grams), measures approximately 3/4 inch (18.54 mm) in diameter and approximately 3/8 inch (9.39 mm) thick. The locket is stamped "925" to designate the quality Sterling Silver content (92.5% pure silver). This locket and chain come in a high quality hinged gift box. The Vintage Sterling Silver Swirl Design Compass Locket is also offered with a 19.5 inch sterling silver chain.

I purchased this for myself for my birthday. I was a little afraid it would be bulky, but have found it's not at all bulky. I wear it on a 24" chain, and most of the time it sits under my shirt and you can't even tell it's there. I think this item would make a great gift, and there's room on the back for a small engraving. It is quality silver craftmanship, and I just love it.

This was very nice. smaller than expected. Wish it gave it next to the ruler when purchased as it does for a review. It shows it's actual size. But still liked it and gave it to my daughter as a symbol of a Fresh Start!

i got this for christmas this year. my son hid it like treasure when i took it off to shower i missed it so much i paid for a second one. this piece of jewlery is feminine as well as practical. i love to camp and hike but i am still a girley girl. this is great for me cause i wear it all the time and it comes in handy sometimes too. <3 !
