5.0 out of 5 stars Tecca Ninna: Real Hip-Hop
Tech N9ne is the most underrated rappers ever. Period. You could say I'm biased because I'm from KC, but everyone that is lucky enough to hear Tech, knows he's amazing. His delivery is flawless and his rhyme scheme is on point. Cop this album a s a p.

5.0 out of 5 stars tech n9ne has true talent, March 23, 2005
This review is from: Vintage Tech (Audio CD)
I just got this album last night at the Tech n9ne, Bone thugz concert and this album has very good rap music. Tech n9ne has a style that stands out and separtes himself as a real MC that is true which most artist these days lack. this album has previously unreleased material which are great songs. tech n9ne has what it takes and focuses his energy on the music and should be more recognized in the game.

Even though there was a lot of stand out tracks on here, I think Tech could have picked some better tracks. Lots of the hooks could have been better but since most of these songs are old it's understandable. Another annoying factor is that Tech talks at the end of every track, I don't like that at all. Good album though, check it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, October 1, 2006
This review is from: Vintage Tech (Audio CD)
The guy who gave it 1-star is a fruitcake because you just can't deny Tech's skill. He pulled all that out of his [...] when he said he knew where Tech is from and stuff so don't listen to him. I saw him in concert when he came by and I must say it was freaking amazing. This is a great album and I would suggest buying it. I doubt Tech murders people but as far as his sex and drugs thing goes he is saying the truth... try the after parties of the concerts and you will know what I mean. SO to Joe... get out of here, and before you start talking whack stuff gain some experience, you nut job.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only Tecca Nina can come raw like thiz!, December 15, 2005
This review is from: Vintage Tech (Audio CD)
1st off da dude that gave it 1 star must be a mainstream listener, cuz u can't be a g-unit, nas, jay-z, snoop, or lil jon listener and come back and give a review on tech n9ne who is well above their level (no money wise) but da gift to spit fire on every track n cover subject matter that no else covers. He's unique with a skill that not even Twista can touch. He puts words in such good flow that he doesn't repeat himself like many of these rappers nowadays. He keeps it treal to da point where he raps what HE WANTS not what other people want to hear. And just da fact that tech n9ne is true to himself before he tries to impress any record label or another artist, is what makes him unique and sicc azz hell wit tonque twistin lyrics and good story tellin. I'll admit at first i was like "Tech Who?". Then i realized that i've been sleepin on his music for a while. Not no more. Vintage is not a debut but it's an album that brings back some songs that were in da lab marinatin. In da album he lets you know why he didn't release it at the time he recorded it and why he left some songs out. Da reason he hasn't gone mainstream is cuz he's waitin for da right label to pick him up without screwin him over like da rest of theze cats on MTV & BET. FTI!!!!!!!!!!! He's thinkin ahead and he's worth every damn penny theze big record labels are offerin. Time will tell and then da whole world will be listenin to Tech who?.....TECH N9NE!!!!!!!!!! Da Albums Sizzlin' So Cop It while its hot!!!

joehiphophead is abviously a total idiot. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A THUG TO RAP. Rapping is not about being hard, shooting people, selling crack or anything like that, its a culture and if you ever heard some pre Eazy-E/NWA hip-hop then you would realize that it wasent always like it is today. You can come from an upper class family or from a orphanage it really dosent matter if you have skill.

Now for my review. As said many times Tech N9ne is slept on like crazy, He proved that being able to download music promotes it not hurts sales. This album is a GREAT addition to the Tech fans collection, espically if you are just hearing about him now and you missed the early stuff. In this album he puts together a line of tracks that may have been on soundtracks (some of which never got released) or feature him but were only released independantly. So this is not a "new release" really its a "re-release" of a bunch of his old stuff, and it is not a "greatest hits" either, dont misunderstand that.

5.0 out of 5 stars great album, September 30, 2005
This review is from: Vintage Tech (Audio CD)
Vintage Tech Vol. 1 is awesome, it shows his talent even from ten years ago. It has his first major hit in KC ("Mitchell Bade"). Lyrically tech is the best and will always be the best.
His imagery is uncanny. This album has the best of the old, the new, and the unreleased.
go get his albums (Celcius, The calm befor the storm, the worst, anghellic, absolute power)
