This is the exact same book as Design Connoisseur. Literally, page for page.
I enjoy Steven Heller books, but seriously, a new cover and a new title does not make it a new book. They could at least mention that it was previously published as Design Connoisseur.

Other than my disappointment at buying the same book twice, it IS a good book and now it comes with a CD so it is easier to utilize the resources.

Got this book for Christmas 2011. Great content if you are into historic advertising and typography. I'm not convinced that the CD is of any real use but it's welcomed. Cover and pages are substantial weight and glossy. The binding broke on my first handling of the book, primarily because of the cover weight and page thickness. Given the author of the book and its content, I'd have paid more for a better bound book.

This is beautifully produced, enjoyable selection of graphics from this period. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I discovered that it comes with a CD (I didn't know that's what the Amazon description "Pap/Cdr" means). Each page is available in PDF format on the CD, an extra bonus. Nicely done, nicely designed, fun to examine.
