Simply apply the compound to the damaged area, cover it with the proper grain/ texture paper, provided in the kit, and heat. The compound cures to a hard finish that duplicates the vinyl floor. Some floors have a multi-colored effect. Our kit shows you how to repair them. You just apply the basic underlying color, then dab the other color or colors over the base color. Apply the grain/texture paper and heat. It is that simple!

This product barely contains any repair material. I bought it for floor vinyl repair, and it contains barely enough to fill up a cigarette burn.
The instructions are kind of ambiguous, and the materials are all flimsy.

The kit's name indicates it's for floor & tile, but the directions & grain material are for upholstery vinyl. Important information is missing--how long must it dry before applying heat? How hot an iron? It contains very little repair product, maybe 1/2 teaspoon yet they tell you to practice first. The spatula is a collar stay--I'm serious. I'd fixed another floor with caulk mixed with brown powder from a set of pastels and it looks better and has lasted for a few years. And that's what I'll do from now on!
