4.0 out of 5 stars Southern Pride
A solid cd with a mix of demos, previously unreleased and some new recordings. If you love Stuck Mojo this is a must have. The guitar riff in Revolution stays in my head for days.

2.0 out of 5 stars Who are they and what have they done w/the real Stuck Mojo?
I dont know what happened.. I waited and waited for this release, only to find out I never would have bought it if it was someone else's. Twisted is a decent song.. So is Revolution.. All I really want to say, is that this album no where near comes comes to Declaration of a Headhunter.

Great album.
DOAH was the first album that I bought which had some of the best songs that Ive ever heard.

Violate This is very enjoyable. Most of the songs were melodic and easy flowing.

Wish there was more.

Stuck has always been an underground group but that's ok cuz if they weren't the rest of the Limp Bizkit world would get ahold of them and act like they understood. First, Rich Ward is THE DUKE OF METAL and that's all I can say about him!! Hail The Duke!! Mojo just had the integrity, the heaviness, the chops and the songwriting to be huge but the public never caught on which probably shows the mental state of the buying public. Sad...All the true metalheads love Mojo dearly and are legends in our hearts. Do yourself a favor and buy every Mojo album you can find. Start with Rising & Pigwalk.

If you're looking for the best Stuck Mojo, buy HVY1, Rising or Pigwalk. This is just a collection of unreleased songs by the inventors of Rap-core from the ATL! If you're a career long fan of Mojo, you'll appreciate this, if not, like I said, buy HVY1 recorded live at the Masquerade right here in ATL with me in attendance.

Stuck Mojo will be missed! You can check out ex-members in Life of Agony, Fozzy, and Sick Speed!

1.0 out of 5 stars This stuff on CM?, January 7, 2002

This release from Century Media was truly a let down. 'Violate This' is the first Stuck Mojo CD I've purchased and will most definitely be the last.

I realize this album contains previously unreleased songs as well as demos, but the production is TERRIBLE. Grainy tracks, off-key guitar and bass work and percussion production that sounds WORSE than a garage recording. Stuck Mojo's lame attempt at a cover of "Shout at the Devil" sounds like its being played deep under the ground in hell itself.

Not to mention the gravely weak performance by the band as a whole... Within this realm of music one expects bold and raw vocals, but the quality of performance on 'Violate This' is ridiculously poor. The listener hears more spit hit the mic than lyrics through his speakers.

And to round off the overall failure of the album, one can't forget the lack of any decent instrumental work. As I was listening to the album I seriously wondered if the band was even on the same song.

Poor production an utterly pathetic performance... Stay away from this one.
