This review is from: Violence Against Women: Philosophical Perspectives (Paperback)
I went through a domestic violence situation and was driving a car for the first time in a couple months and got pulled over for not seeing a red light in time. A cop saw this book in the backseat and let me go telling me she went through the same thing.
This book talk about how women try to get away from violence but due to a doulbe standard, they can't get to safety. It talks about female mutilation, battered women in christian and muslim society. It is from a world view perspective. |
