Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The subject of the Greek Hoplite and the Greek City State world and how it worked is still a very vexed subject. How did the hoplites fight , what was the impact on the City if it was defeated . Van Weees has put together a excellent book about this subject. Though this book is for the serious student of the Greek world and not the casual sunday afternoon reader.
