4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Read-Historical content amazing., April 7, 2005
This review is from: Sex, Violence, and the Media (Harper Colophon Books) (Paperback)
Though written and published in 1978, Hans J. Eysenck's synopsis on pornographic and violent material is relevent to today's culture. The book, though it deals with a primative form of television compared to today's standards, still holds some valid points in how the medium is more and more overtly portraying violence and sex. Eysenck takes a look at how viewing these programs can effect children's mind sights. Extremely relevent to research papers dealing with the history of the effects media has on the brain.
