Maybe Ice-T was trying hard to infuriate and offend when he put together Body Count's Violent Demise: The Last Days, but he should have spent a bit more time on the riffs and lyrics. Sure, "Interview," which features a vignette about a journalist being executed for dissing the band (gulp!), and "Strippers," which includes the scintillating chorus "Strippers, I want my dick sucked," are both disturbing, but the puerile prurience hardly obscures the group's second-rate songwriting. Throughout the album, Ice-T moans and barks above repetitive, second-hand guitar lines, and even when the rapper lambastes O.J. Simpson on "I Used to Love Her," he fails to say anything even mildly thought-provoking. --Jon Wiederhorn

This is an albumn full of Metal Anthems like 90s suicidal tendencies. "My way - strippers - call kevorkuan - dead man walking " are brutal bursts of speed thrash metal ala slayer pantera megadeath at their best. If you don't like reality don't buy this albumn. If you are politically correct don't listen to it. Our first amendment protects us and allows creative artistic expression. Like hook in mouth from megadeath if you don't like it that doesn't mean it ain't no good. This album is one of the Top 10 metal albums all time.

Ice-T is a great rapper, he is even better with his rock/metal band Body Count.Violent Demise is a loud heavy in your face album for any die hard fan of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal. This album is: Raw, Gritty, Loud, but most importantly: it's in your face with loud lyrics and blazing guitars and drums. If you're a fan of Ice-T, or just a fan of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, I would strongly recommend this album. Two Thumbs Up!!!!!!!

VD Last Days, is quite faster and heavier then most of BC albuns. Ice-T mixes funny things with sexism, racism and greed. The result is a good album with a medium strenght, but with good melodies. The lyrics, well, everyone knows Ice-T, so they have rap influence. The band plays well, there are good solos. Enphasis on 2. My Way, 6. Violent Demise, 10. Root Of All Evil, 15. Dr. K, 16. Last Days (best on the album).

Body Count sound like Rage against the machine (on their best). I like this album , is over average. Its not so good as Born Dead but its better than Body count. The lyrics are fun and explicit.....i always laugh by hearing strippers . A very good album for anyone who likes rap / metal or even metal
