Fusion: Sizzle

Violet Dawn is a very entertaining read, but not for anyone with a weak stomach. Some parts are rough, but it has a good love story, too. The alien world is painted very vividly. I felt like I was right there in the middle of it. Really a good book!

This review is from: Violet Dawn (Kindle Edition)
Sandra Waldron has proven herself as a writer of mysteries [Demise of Sara Mae], Science Fiction [Fusion Sizzle], Spirit World [Principalities] and even Matinee Nostalgia [Yellow Butterfly]. I have read all of the above and been impressed with the imagination of her plots, her breadth of genre and what might be called her slam dunk endings.

Now comes one of her most...if not thee most...amazing works of all....one that I knew was going to give me nightmares before I'd even read a few pages. In Fusion Sizzle, she gave you aliens visiting Earth. Now, in Violet Dawn, her five star imagination transports you away from all you've ever known and held dear to a world of metaphoric, and for my dough even actual darkness. [wait till you SEE this cover...you get the willies before you even open the book].

You will find a plot to outdo even this gifted author's past splendid works with the same imaginative twists and turns, only more so. The characterization is credible, this dark planet sucks you into its imagery with her vivid descriptions and, of course, the action moves from scene to scene mercilessly through the author's visual and most graphic prose yet.

I won't DARE tell you the plot, but i think you get the picture. This one is for diehard fans of...what? Do we have a brand new genre here? Or perhaps a hybrid of horror and sci-fi. Yes, this is for the top of the line fans of each! No weak stomachs allowed!!! Five Stars
