Any UV light rated over 375 nm has limited UV detection applications,

These are 395 nm UV lights. They are about at the end of the spectrum of UV light and moving into white light. The lower the nm the better the UV detection. All 395 to 400nm UV emit too much white or visible light and are close to useless.
375nm and lower are better at detection but harder to find. A single led UV rated at 375nm will out perform a 51 led rated at 395nm.

I shopped all over for a good black light for hunting scorpions in the dark. This little number puts out a great beam to spot those little buggers in the dark. They glow like you wouldn't believe. This was the very best value of all those I looked at. A friend bought one that cost three times more and is no better

Not sure if its off on the spectrum or if my animals urinate the wrong matter, but it does not show off stains I know should be there.... maybe my carpet eats protein??? I dont know but it did me no good... It is bright and appears true uv blacklight to me not like those fake black light party bulbs everybody used to own. Real like the Florescent type. Yet it still was of no help.
