I've been using this shaving cream for a couple of years now with my twin blade razor and I love everything about it: it's sweet smell, it doesn't bother my skin (my skin is very sensitive), it's smooth and it's easy to apply. I've tried shaving soaps (not this particular brand) instead of shaving cream, and I like shaving cream more because you can work up such a great lather with it, whereas with shaving soap, I find it hard to work up a lather.

A cut above my expectations and certainly far and away the best of 8-10 other brands that I've used. The shaving qualities are outstanding; very good lubricant, a soft feel after rinsing. For lathering it's top drawer and a good peanut-sized dollup can be whipped into enough lather for a 3-pass shave. Sure enough, it smells of violets but does not overpower. It's pricey, I paid about $30 including shipping and at the current rate of usage, it appears that the 200g tub will provide about 140 shaves. So about 20 cents per if my math is correct.

This stuff is the best! Use with a badger hair brush for the most comfortable shave ever! I use this with a Merkur HD long "Barber Pole" razor. Can be used with regular disposable cartridge razors.
