This is a wonderful recording of the first concerto. Perlman is as his best here...one of the top recordings I have heard. The adagio k. 261 is played beautifully and the rondos are the best I have ever heard. James Levine has really outdone himself with the Vienna Philharmonic. This is not a recording to miss!
