I was looking for pieces to play for the reception of my aunt's wedding and this book really came in handy. There's familiar pieces we're played as a child like Bach's Loure and Gossec's Gavotte(for those of you that were brought up in teh Suzuki violin method); but also pieces that practice trills, pizzicato, and double stops. The pieces are arranged in an intermediate level with nothing going above the third position. A great book to bring back the fun of violin playing (and realizing all those scale exercise really do come in handy! ;) )

Great variety of difficulty and style, finally a book filled with not-too-easy and well-known pieces. No violin pieces missing or any other problems. A must have for a violinist!

I recieved this music today, and like the previous reviewer's experience, the violin part is missing. Look on any sheet music website, and it is clear that the music includes a violin part. When I called customer service they had the opinion that there is no violin part. Hopefully they will understand their mistake and make the complete piece of music available soon, or modify their description to signify that this item is ONLY the piano part.

I am a little disappointed because the book was incomplete and I have to return it for a refund. The piano part was perfect however the violin part was missing from the book. I am not able to keep the incomplete product.
Hopefully I'll be able to find a complete one.
