I always thought Jo Jones was underestimated in the later years of his career. Listning to this CD and having Jo Jones behind Oscar Peterson is pure joy. Why did they not record more together??. There cannot be much doubt that Jones is the superman of wiskers. Give yourself the pleasure and just tracklisten to The lady is a tramp!!

If asked to choose the ideal group of musicians for a jazz album, I would probably come up with this list! They don't disappoint. This is one fantastic album.
