I purchased these shoes in black and absolutely loved them because of the high arch and removable insole so I ordered another pair in chocolate. They fit true to size and are adorable! I have plantar fasciitis, a high arch and a bunch of other feet issues. Because of my wide toes and narrow heal Ive always had trouble with shoes. The bottoms are rubber, the strap keeps my heel from lifting, and I can wear them all day with minimal pain at the end of the day. I am so happy I spent the money on these shoes. :)

Diagnosed with planters fasciitis about a year ago and did the exercises, etc., etc., etc. It didnt get any better. I finally just threw out all of my shoes and started from scratch. This was the first item in my new shoedrobe! LOVE it. Got it in 2 colors and wish wish wish they had a navy. I have the highest arch and instep that I have EVER seen. This shoe perfectly fits my arch and I am supported evenly from heel to toe. I work retail... so Im on my feet for hours on end. Very comfortable and looks pretty too! I am selective with the shoe I choose because I like a more feminine look. Most comfort/ortho shoes look like boats to me. This shoe fits beautifully and not clunky at all! WINNER!

I've ordered several different pairs in a range of sizes (8-9.5) from the Vionic website, zappos and amazon. I tend to overpronate and I'm flat-footed so I really needed some dressier shoes with excellent arch support - my problem is I have very narrow heels and the rest of my foot is what I think is average/medium. Every pair I ordered in a pump style or wedge slipped off my heel unless I took very small, very careful steps. I tried heel grips, cushions in the ball of the foot, trouser socks, stockings, crew socks and bare foot and nothing worked. Loved every shoe for the arch support but had to send them all back... but I'm keeping these.

Excellent arch support, much cuter in person, much more affordable than the nearest department store that carries this brand and the ankle strap keeps them on my feet! My heels still slip a touch, enough that I'll always have to wear stockings or trouser socks to avoid blisters, but that's a fair trade for the orthaheel comfort. I hope vionic begins to make dressier styles in narrow widths but until they do, I'll keep my two pairs of Amelia's.

After reading reviews that said these run small, I ordered a 1/2 size up. My feet run a little wide, so with the orthotics I assumed I'd need to do that anyway. These do appear to be narrow through the toe, but with the 1/2 size bigger, they fit my feet fine. However, I think the length is right on, these are nearly 1/2" past my big toe. I'll keep them for the width, but if you have average width or narrow feet, I'd order true to size. The shoe is well made and cute, I love the contrast stitching on the black! After a half hour of wearing, I can feel my feet relaxing into them, feels great!

I have been dealing with PF on one foot and Morton's Neuroma on the other so finding a shoe with a little bit of height that didn't kill my feet was difficult. These shoes are great. However, they are a little tight in the beginning and I got blisters after wearing them for a full day. So - take it easy and let them stretch out a bit before you wear them for an extended period of time. The top strap started out very tight so I punched another hole in the strap with a leather punch. That did the trick.

I'm a big fan of Orthaheel, but this pair was narrow and tight. Most of them I've had before are sized generously.

Those of us who suffer from ridiculous plantar fasciitis will appreciate the arch support. But, even if you are used to Orthaheel arch support, be prepared for this shoe--it is some seriously high, strong arch support that will take a while to get used to! I found it a bit of an adjustment at first, but, as with previous Orthaheel purchases, I bear with them until I see how I feel after a day on my feet in the shoes. In this case, my plantar fasciitis did NOT act up and I felt fabulous at the end of the day. Only trouble was a bit of a red spot on the back of my heel, as with any new shoe, when you break them in. Will use heel grips next time to lessen that issue. I like the shoe so much that I bought the purple ones first, followed by the black and have just ordered the brown ones. Hope that speaks loudly enough for what I think of the shoe!

I went up a half size from normal, and my big toes still touch the end of the shoes occasionally. They're comfy, stylish, and supportive. The arch support is harder than my other Orthaheels, but it isn't uncomfortable for my high arches - however, I think it could be if you don't have really high arches. I like them a lot!
