I am really happy with this TV. It looks great, the picture is very clean, and the sound is adequate. I was a little skeptical but after receiving the unit and hooking the TV up I am more than satisfied with my purchase. This is my first TV from VIORE but the price was very compelling and I noticed that they had pretty good reviews on their other TVS on Amazon. Great buy and I would recommend this TV to other people.

...but that's a good thing!! you see the all the specs say this TV is only 720p. i even double-checked other internet sources for the specs and they are the same. well i hooked up my PS3 to it via HDMI and much to my surprise, it showed the main screen in 1080p. i then tested it by watching a few different bluray movies. all played no problem in 1080p. i tested some 1080p videos i downloaded from the playstation store and they played fine. now i play some PSN titles that are in 1080p, same thing. all play at that resolution. i then put in a 720p game and it switches to 720p, as expected. i'm surprised none of the other reviews mention this. when the PS3 powers up, the TV displays the resolution in the top of the screen. it says '1920 x 1080 60hz'. when it switches to a lower res, it displays the new res as well like '1284 x 720 60hz'. i even hooked up my 1920x1080 HP HDX16 laptop to the TV and it displayed my desktop at 1080p no problem. so it HAS to be 1080p right?!?!?

now for a screen this small, i am not too picky w/ the color quality. i know it's not the best but how much am i going to notice on a 19" screen? the sound is about what you can expect from a tv this small. not too great but adequate. i use this tv mostly for games while im travelling or as an extra set for fighting tournaments so overall i'm not too concerned about getting the best picture and sound. if i want that, i'll play my games on my 52" samsung and onkyo home theater...

i bought this TV last week for $100 here during a one-day sale so i am basing my rating off of that price point. if i had paid $150, i would only rate it 3.5-4 stars and that is mostly because it turned out to be 1080p instead of 720p. if this tv was 720p as advertised, i would've only given it 4 stars. but for a tv that does MORE than expected at a price point LOWER than expected, how can i NOT give it 5 stars?

so overall, if you want a spare tv for the kids room, guest room or kitchen that isn't concerned about the blackest blacks, the sharpest lines, the most vibrant colors, etc etc... then this is a great bargain of an HDTV. even at $150, it's still worth it.

It's unfortunate because, for the most part, this is a great little TV. I got it for a very good price, it's very lightweight, and, when looked at straight on, it delivers a good HD picture. I've heard of people complaining about viewing angles but, since I knew I would be relatively close to this TV because of its small size, I knew I would never be viewing it from very far off to either side.

The problem is the VERTICAL viewing angle. If you're watching the TV headon --- with your eyes at the same level of the screen --- the picture is really good. If you sit, or stand, or elevate or lower your eyes relative to the screen more than 6 inches, the screen appears to go so dark it's almost black.

When I first noticed this, I actually grabbed the remote and prepared to make some adjustments ... but after several instances I realized that this TV just has a horrible viewing angle. And there are no adjustments that can help this.

Be forewarned, most of the other features of this HDTV are fine and are worth every bit of the low price I paid for the set, but the poor viewing angle makes this a stay-away-from item.

I think its an awesome purchase. For the value of $99, its the best purchase i made. It just took me only 5 minutes to set it up. There it scored 5 starts. The connections were little difficult as they were slightly hidden. It needed some help. The only thing i thought it lacked was a headphone jack for my sound system. I felt the audio was a little weird. It definitely didn't sounded high definition. The 720p quality was good. It could take some of the HD channels from my cable line, but not all. I dont know whether its my cable issue or TV.
I hooked up my computer and it was awesome too.
I hooked up my digital box that i bought to connect my harddrive to the tv and watched all blu ray ripped movies. The picture looked awesome and the audio as i said was not up-to my expectations - well there needs to be a compromise for this price.
Over all very happy. I would recommend this tv if the price is scaled around $100.

Power cord did not ship with TV. Contacted manufacturer to request cord. We finally received cord 15 days after request...unfortunately, was the wrong type of cord. Finally went out and bought cord at Radio Shack as we didn't want to wait another 15 days.

Bought 2 of these TVs and haven't had any problems(no dead pixels,no DOA,etc.). The viewing angle is very good and there isn't any noticeable difference in the picture from a top or bottom view. To view over-the-air HD, you need to hook up an HD antenna. The build quality is nice and overall the TV doesn't feel cheap. Some info on HDTVs: the picture you see is only as good as your source. A DVD, Xbox 360, HD channels, etc. will be clear, whereas SD channels will look a bit pixelated and sometimes worse than a CRT TV.

purchased this for only $100.00 which was a great deal for a 19" LCD compared to the others that are selling for at least $50 more... I'm very happy with my purchase.

The product- a 19" hdtv does not work At best it only receives one channel--and that is only occasionally. I am waiting to be informed of my legal rights before pursuing any further action.As far as question 2 above is concerned, I rate this product

I paid over $133 for this tv last month from Amazon. I was extremely disappointed in the audio and picture quality (and I'm not very fussy). I would think seriously before I purchased this tv unless it is for a child's room or occasional tv. It might be worth $99 in those applications, but I took it off my kitchen counter it was so irratating!!

No problems out of the box. Did not have to make any changes to the default settings. Very quick delivery.
