5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic product for the price
I bought this TV based on all of the reviews from around the various shopping websites. What can I say, I'm happy! Got this TV yesterday and installed last night. I have it hooked up to our OTA antenna using the built in tuner and American Idol looked as good on this TV as my 50 inch Panasonic plasma. Sound was perfectly fine for the size TV. 2.0 out of 5 stars Good while it lasted
A perfectly decent cheapo TV while it lasted, no complaints really.

Six months in, the screen turns goes blank after a couple of minutes every time, audio remains on and channels are still switchable. Turning the TV off/on brings the screen back to life for a few minutes.

Now I'm in the process of dealing with a warranty repair for a $200 TV,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic product for the price, April 15, 2010
This review is from: Viore LC22VH56PB 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black (Electronics)
I don't believe there is a 22" LCD in existence that is going to give you room filling sound so to expect it from this TV is absurd. This was the best money I've spent on technology in a long time. Viore has made a believer in me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty much in agreement with all that's been said.., July 14, 2010

What everyone else says is pretty much true, with the exception of the one guy who disliked the sound quality.
The picture is decent, the controls/set-up menu is user friendly, the sound quality is EXCELLENT for what it is.
All in all, not bad for a sub-$200 television.

My unit has a power supply issue..if left on for extended periods, the TV will shut down, requiring that the power cord be unplugged to "reset" before it can be turned off properly and restarted.
Not a MAJOR glitch, as most folks aren't going to do two-day marathon watching sessions as a matter of course..
Another annoying thing is the reflective black facia surrounding the screen. If there is a lamp on somewhere in the room, odds are pretty good that you'll have a distracting light reflected back at you from the periphery of the picture..not a HUGE thing, but still annoying, yanno?

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice for the price, August 6, 2010
This review is from: Viore LC22VH56PB 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black (Electronics)
So far I've had the 22" Viore flat screen HDTV for one week and have really thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter who has 2 well known brand named flat screens, gave her stamp of approval and remarked that the television had a better picture and sound than her smaller expensive name brand television she owns. No I am not a company rep, just a nurse who enjoys a great television program. So far so good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice but missing AC power cord., September 10, 2010

This review is from: Viore LC22VH56PB 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black (Electronics)
I got the TV about a week and a half ago for my dorm room I was really mad when I saw that they didn't include a power cord to power the TV. When I called them they said they'd ship one out as soon as possible I still haven't gotten it. I ended going down to radio shack and buying one the same day. I've mostly used it for playing video games but I've spent a decent amount of time watching TV too no complaints so far and I can customize anything I don't like with the settings (e.g. I can turn the brightness down at night) although I have to say the remote layout is awkward all the numbers are on the top section of the remote which I'm not used to. Other than the missing power cord (that still hasn't shown up) it's a nice tv for a decent price.

*UPDATE*- Three weeks later they sent me the power cord. It ended up being the wrong cord... so glad I didn't wait.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality TV for the price, but has its issues., August 29, 2010

The unit has nice looks, all needed inputs such as computor, composite, component, antenna, and HDMI. Picture quality is Good too, and doubles nicely as a computor monitor.

My only gripe with this one is the sound. While its capable of putting out LOUD audio, the *quality* is not great. With a little property tweaking in the audio menu it can be Good, but not as great as other same sized TVs out there at a HIGHER pricepoint.

To add insult to injury there is no headphone/audio output jack either, so the option to put a set of quality external speakers on the side is not there. That is kinda the kicker there in the end. While no one realistically expects high-end sound from a Tv of this size, having the audio output jack is nice future reassurance that one could upgrade their set-up if the need arose. Also if 6-8 years down the road the speakers die, but the LCD display is fine, one could just hook up speakers to it and it could continue to be used well.

Although if you're like me and will be using it mainly for computer-based entertainment, then one can just plug external speakers in the comp's output jack, and that won't be an issue. Also there are easy ways to take audio from devices(game systems, etc) and direct it elsewhere to a set of external speakers with a simple, cheap cable adaptor. Still, having that built-in audio output jack would be mighty nice....

Overall, not perfect but still a very nice Tv at the pricepoint. Great for a smaller room, a Dorm room, kid's room, and or modest entertainment/gaming set-up.

works great for movies and gaming as well as tv..if you dont have hd quality then the channels are pretty much the same as a tube tv..easy to use and no complaints so far at all..does take a lil long to load when you turn it on but then again the lcd's all take a few seconds..the off red light is kinda bright but who stares at that while they sleep?..good tv so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a GREAT BUY!, November 10, 2011

I've had this TV for a few days now, and LOVE it! The picture and sound are great. Its light and looks good. There were no dead spots or any other issues with the screen. The in-puts work great and its nice to have the PC hooked to it so I can watch movies or use it as a monitor.

Shipping was great and on the cheap side for expedited, I got the TV in 5 days. This is a great buy and a greta TV for a bedroom or Den.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really pretty nice Viore TV Quality, September 3, 2011
This review is from: Viore LC22VH56PB 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black (Electronics)
We got this TV the other day and installed it just today. I am amazed at how well it operates with a very user friendly install. The remote has all the basic functions. The sound quality is so much better than the Westinghouse POS TV we obtained a year ago. Overall, a very good buy for the price. I would buy again.

I got the refurbished one- GREAT deal.
Easy set up, really good picture (just had to adjust the color and tint a bit, but I'm picky) and it picked up a LOT of channels on a cheap set of rabbit ear antenna(s). Sound seems fine.
Found out that the remote also controls my Samsung TV (and the Samsung remote controls this TV).
I got it as a present, so can't check out all the inputs at this time.
