Good tv for the price,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Viore LED22VF50 22-Inch 1080p LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics)
Received this item today in a horribly beat up box. Fortunately the packaging had so much cushioning in it that the TV itself wasn't damaged, but the box was dented and beat up. Despite the beat to hell packaging the TV survived shipping just fine. The TV itself is nicely featured, including lots of inputs, easy to attach mount, and a good display and sound options. Though the mount is easy to attach, I feel it's a little to small, it doesn't hold the tv steady easily. The remote works, but since I just got it today I'm not sure when it'll crap out. I think literally the most irritating thing about this TV is the power supply. Most TV's have a normal sized plug and a nice length cord, BUT this freakin TV has a 3" x 1" x 1" power supply, it's humungous power supply for a small TV. It covers the outlets on both sides of it on my power strip enough that I can't plug anything into them. And the cord is maybe 3.5' long. If anyone from Viore is reading this, PLEASE FIX YOUR STUPID PLUG ON THIS TV.

My Viore Nightmare,
This review is from: Viore LED22VF50 22-Inch 1080p LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics)
I bought this tv a few weeks ago. This is my nightmare...1. The sound is horrible. 2. The remote crapped out after one week. 3. There is no way, on earth, that one can contact these people. BEWARE!

Great TV for the Low Price,
This review is from: Viore LED22VF50 22-Inch 1080p LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics)
HD picture quality is excellent, I'm very happy with my purchase. It has a favorites menu & sleep timer, which are very important being that its my bedroom TV. Menu appears small & doesn't have too many features, other than surround sound mode & favorites menu. TV was purchased for the same price as a 19" LCD. So as long as it lasts a year or two I'm happy.

I have had my tv for over a year, and, so far, real good...I use it in my bedroom as a stand-alone, and it picks up the dozen or so local channels real well, once I got the antennas lined-up properly. The picture is bright and beautiful at nearly any angle (1080p is probably overkill for a screen this small), and the sound is more than adequate for a small room. If were trying to get the "Theater Experience," certainly the speakers are too small and, probably, too close together; but then I would spring for a couple of amplified pc speakers with subwoofer, and plug them in. But, as is, they are certainly as good as those on the 19" tv this replaced, and MUCH better than those which came on my laptop. As for the remote, I haven't had any problem, so far. But it is a relevant concern, since I am not aware of any brand universal remotes that list this brand, and, according to the Internet traffic, the use of Aika and Samsung codes seem to work only on some remotes. And the remote is really useful, as this is a full-featured set, with several possible adjustments that can help make the unit even more enjoyable. My only complaint would be that some features, such as the sleep timer, is only accessible through a bunch of menus, most of which are rather hard to read from a distance, especially through sleepy eyes. The choice of which functions should have been addressible by a single pushbutton, and which through a menu, seems to have been a little haphazard during the design phase. But, all in all, I highly recommend this set. |
