Nice but whiteboard seems defective.,

I bought this cabinet for my dart board because it was the best looking one I could find and had good reviews. I think that the cabinet itself is the nicest one that I've seen for darts, but over a very short period of time the permanent black markings on the whiteboard portion of the cabinet wipe off when you clean it. I used whiteboard markers and erasers designed for whiteboards as directed by the manufacturer, but the markings rubbed off anyway within the first 6 weeks.

This is a great cabinet. It is made of solid oak and not particle board like a lot of cabinets that you find in stores. The design on the doors gives a touch of uniqueness as well. The out board and the cricket board inside the doors are perfectly sized to see as well. The lined backing is predrilled for installing with the provided screws. All the needed mounting hardware is inside the cabinet. After having some kids throwing as well, I can tell you that it is pretty durable. Simply beautiful on the wall.

Clearly there is a quality control issue at the manufacturer. One door of the cabinet had been damaged, and an amateur attempt to fix it was rather poorly done. No way should this cabinet have passed quality control, which leads me to believe there was no quality control to pass! Probably best to avoid the trouble of two transactions: one to buy this cabinet and another to return it, as I'm sure you will.
