Viper Oak Parquet Dartboard Cabinet

This is a nice cabinet for a game room, family room or garage. The Viper brand name not withstanding, the item is actually sourced from GLD and made in China, if that means anything to you one way or the other. However, it is all solid wood and is nicely finished. The hinges appear substanial and definately appears to be a cut above the normal tacky Budweiser box usually available. I'd have given it 5 stars if the cost was under $100, but knocked one off for the premium price.

Unless you can get to England pick up one of the pub originals provided by the breweries, this is probably as good as you can get. I'd buy it again.

As things go for dart board cabinets, this one is somewhat well made. Requires a low to moderate skill level to correctly mount. Maybe a little pricy, however it looks great and functions well in my basement rec room. 100% satisfied.

A very beautiful and heavy duty dart board cabinet. Just the perfect size for the darts area out on the deck!!! Love it!!!

I have never owned any other dart cabinets, so I have no comparison. The cabinet I got looks nicer than the picture on line.
I am very happy with this cabinet.
My only complaints are:
1) the back of the cabinet is pretty thin/flimsy. The connection to a mounted dartboard does not seem very strong.
2) Anchoring it to the wall was a bit challenging, because it does not just "hang" on the wall. It comes with pre-drilled holes for mounting, but that requires some precise measurements. Drilling additional holes through the cloth-covered backing does mess it up a bit.

If doing it again, I would strengthen the back of the cabinet, put some spacers on the back of the cabinet to facilitate attaching it to the wall with a single hanging point just like the dartboard inside it.

This is a very nice product. I looked all over the web and they had it for the best price. I was afraid it would be flismy, but it's not, it's well made and I am very happy with it!!!
