I've always loved ANG subjects, and picked this book up a while back. I had seen Mr. Melampy's work in magazines and his website, and was very pleased to see this book has the same quality photographs in it. I heartily recommend this book. Some of the historical images are incredible. It has pictures of jets from units I didn't even know ever flew the F-16.

This is the F-16 book I have been waiting for! As an avid modeller, I like lots of close-up color photos and detailed unit histories. This book provides both in excess quantities. If you are a fan of Don Logan's books published by Schiffer, then you must also have this book on your shelf. I hope to see more books like this from Mr. Melampy. However, if you are looking for a more technical book on the F-16, you must look elsewhere.

As a F-16 fan it's a book to have. Jake is a very proffesional photographer and his books are always very welcome in my collection.

I visited many ANG-basis between 1991 and 2001 and this book brings back many memories of these days!!!
