I purchased the Viper Vancouver Air Hockey table a few weeks ago and so far it's been played for over 3 hours and works great. I accidentally broke one of the parts during install and GLD (Great Lake Darts) is sending me the part free of charge. The table works as well as the ones you see at big gaming places. My kids love playing on it so far and they use a step stool right now (6 and 4) since the table is made for kids 8 and above. Table was shipped free to door which is a great deal. I highly recommend this item.

I did considerable research before we bought this table. I had read that it would be hard to assemble. It was. The instructions didn't specify which end of the table the power unit needed to be at so we ended up taking the whole thing apart when it was at the wrong end. It took about 3 hours to set up then another 1 1/2 hours to tear down and reassemble. Also, there was no hole drilled for the power cord for the score keeper. My husband has those tools so it wasn't horribly frustrating.

The quality of the table is what I expected. The aluminum rails aren't aluminum but a plastic strip that fits around the bottom of the "rink". The table is for my teenage (14, 17, 19) children and myself. I didn't want to spend $2000 on a quality table. So far this table has taken a beating and is still working. The playing surface is great. The walls however have lots of nicks and dents (we play hard).

So, the assembly is a pain. If you are expecting a table like you would find at an arcade, this isn't it. It is however a nice mid level table and we are happy with it.

After doing much homework and checking reviews on this product,
purchased it as a family christmas present for my daughter and the
grandkids. Assembly was a snap and the entire family - including
neighbors and friends - were impressed by the quality of this table.
It's now March and they are still trying to "wear it out"..... Very satisfied...!

This air hockey table is ok - not great but we enjoy playing on it and it was cheaper than some of the alternatives. The sound effects in the scoreboard stopped working after a few weeks but it still keeps score (silently) and accurate time. The paddles are also leaving scuff marks on the surface, not sure if that's a typical side effect for all tables or just this one. Table is a good size though and the air flow gives the pucks a nice zip.

The air hockey table was a hit on Christmas morning. Kids love it. Table was easy to assemble; however, there was one hiccup with the directions. The vendor does not mention in the instructions the end panels need to go on specific ends. It implies they are interchangeable. They are not. You MUST place the end panel (one containing the control panel opening) on the end where the control panel opening will be on the same side as the scoreboard. Without doing this your wire connections will be too short.

GLD, maker of table, acknowledged they have received previous complaints about the wiring, but still has not updated their instructions clarifying the issues with the end panels. This simple addition to the instructions will help buyers avoid putting the entire table together only to discover the wiring will not reach the control panel. Again, other than this one issue the table was easy to assemble and the kids love it.

Very nice, but.... hockey puck hangs up a bit on the graphics and lines on the play area. Still plays well though. Hours of fun.

Table is well built and works fine. But the parts supplied did not have long enough wires to connect the electronics. I had to purchase patch cables separately to connect the scoring system. The extra materials to do the job right would have cost them an extra dollar or two at most, but they cost me a lot more.

Table is sturdy and good size fan keeps cutting out after 15 mins , guess it has a thermal switch of some sort and it is in a room that can get fairly hot without any a/c

The gameplay is fast although slightly dangerous with the puck leaving the table 8-10 times per 5 minute game. Sound stopped working after about 7 months (probably 100 or so games). The paddles do scuff up the table pretty badly and the we have to to start repairing the outside of the table since it is cracking and coming loose. Tried to see if I could find a website for the manufacturer, but had no luck. Definite buyers remorse for a $1000 item if you get someone to put it together for you. Hopefully it hold up long enough to get our moneys worth, but I'm not holding my breath.

After reviewing what tables existed, I found this one highly recommended.
It arrived on a large wooden pallet. It was heavy, and I suggest at least two people
help put it together.
