The time period over which this album was recorded was a very fertile time in Gil's career. This live album captured how mature his sound had become as well as showcased his wide range of guitar skills. The sound is very stripped down and raw although the sound quality on this cd is very good.
A lot of these titles will be familiar to Gil fans but as usual he manages to imbue each with a very different feel and style than the studio versions. Really fascinating listening and pretty fun too.
