The age old problem stemming from what happens when one man has something and another one wants it and is determined to make it his no matter what means has to be used to accomplish this task.
Settlers had been assigned land in Indian Territory by the tribes during the late 1800’s but some powerful cattlemen from over the line wanted to get their hands on land in Indian Territory. They figured the best way to do this was to chase these settlers off and take over.
Things seemed to be going their way until resistance showed up. Some surprises came from an unexpected source.
