This comprehensive guide to hiking trails in the entire state of Virginia is a must for all levels of Backcountry explorers. Trails are well described to assist in chosing a hike fitted to your ability and interest. In addition much valuable information regarding the general area, facilities, camping areas and much more is given. The maps are easy to read and most accurate. I recommend this book for nature enthusiasts of all levels and ages. A wonderful gift!! The book was updated in 1998 with superb new maps for ease in finding your way in all the areas listed.
