Being a big fan of playing pool in real life and on the computer I decided to give Virtual Pool 3 a try. It claims it can help your real life pool game and I am here to tell you that it will. I learned some valuable lessons from watching the in game videos and from practicing over and over the shots it sets up for you. When I play pool with friends now they can't believe when I tell them I learned them all from playing a computer game.

Give this game a try...you will not be dissapointed

In this game you can do many things like play online, just play a game or have a career. This game has instructional videos on how to improve and can really improve your real life pool. For 10 dollars it is defintly worth the money. It has 8 ball-9 ball and many other games i hadnt even heard of. The graphics are great, and it never lags. You can play players with the diffuculty you want, and the game you want. Unlock many levels like beach house an deep pockets. Many different games to play, places to play them, and how to play them, and who to play them with.


This game improves your real pool game, but makes it look like crap. Buying this game is a great alternative to owning a real pool table. The mouse fling cue is a great idea, cause it is very similar to reality. Also in the game you can different cues. This can help you adjust to your own unique style of playing. Sometimes the game can be cheap (some of the bosses) but you can always find a way to beat them. If you have any questions in the game, you can go to the help button. This explains all the rules to all the different games.

For ten bucks, this is the best choice you can have for the money

After Showing This game to a Friend who really enjoys playing pool in Bars , he ended up telling me this game was the closest thing he saw to real pool playing. I Would have to agree as this game is above and beyond anything out there right now for the PC.

I used to be a pro in real life and played 7 hours per day in the pool room, I also played Virtual Pool 3 a few hours per day as well. But what I didn't know was that the reason I improved my skills was mostly because of playing on the computer. Later I found out that real life pool actually made me worse!

In Virtual Pool 3 you have a perfect stroke and a perfect table which makes you focus more on cueball control which is the true skill of pool. Once you get used to controlling the speed of the cueball with the mouse you will actually improve your speed control in real life! There has been many times when my speed control was BETTER than the imperfect table in real life and it annoyed me. I eventually quit real life pool completely to only play Virtual Pool 3 and I improved faster than ever. Real life pool has become OBSOLETE. I find no reason at all to play real life pool again because it just makes me worse and worse, and it has saved me over a grand in the past year!

Virtual Pool 3 is now available as a downloadable version on their (Celeris) website and will last a lifetime. I have played it 5 years and still play it almost every day online, improving your skills never becomes boring!

The best thing is that you can play against other people in Gamespy. There are daily tournaments as well as video coverage by poollogics that you can download. Pool on the computer is the future...

This software won't install on my Windows 7 Machine.
It also doesn't come in a (Jewel case).
I'd send it back but the cost of the postage outweighs that satisfaction.

This game will not play on windows 7 had I know this I would never have purchased it, don't waste your time or money, Someone should have posted the fact that it was not compatabile with windows 7

Excellent! IF only I could "plug-in" my avatar Babe, to teach me how to avoid "The Allure Gambit" (aka:Sex appeal or Flasher to win ploy)

This video game is very realistic to being there and playing billiards. It has been very entertaining for the adults in this family. And for those who are serious about pool, it gives them some insight into professional shot- making.

Picture jumps now and then. Don't know if it's the software or my computer.
Other than that ,it's a great pool game.
