5.0 out of 5 stars A recommended book for each VMware Administrator September 24, 2010
Format:Paperback
The book provides a nice "Best Practice" solutions for VMware Administrator.
Some of the information in this book appear usually in the high level course of VMware ESX, so
this book can also help you to save money :)
I guess that some of the information in this book can also be implemented in third party virtualization solutions -
But currently, VMware is VMware.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive up to date coverage of MS applications December 1, 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This was a nice technical coverage of the major MS applications, SQL, Exchange and SharePoint both older and current versions. The details and performance requirements are spelled out and working examples provided. if you are looking for a book to gather the information you need to start viirtualizing the teir one applications then you should get this one and read it. I used it to create two production SharePoint 2010 farms and help with AD controller issues.

3.0 out of 5 stars Marginal Value October 16, 2010

If you don't know much about Vsphere you may find this book useful. A better title would be "Your first book for Virtualizing Windows OS." I did not find a lot of performance tuning information. The best source for that is still the VMWare web site. There are better, more comprehensive choices to learn about Vsphere in my opinion.
