....no fear here, scordatura-lovers.....entering the pantheon of such luminous interpreters as Reinhard Goebel, Gunar Letzbor, Enrico Gatti and Francois Fernandez now come the inspired members of Ricordo.....Biber's charm and mischief can only jump to life in the hands of talented musicians (given) who possess a magical bond with the composer himself, and the instant you hear it and feel it you know you're home.... sure, there's duplication on this recording of sonatas that some of us may already have, but with music so open to personal expression as this, no worries, an entirely new experience awaits you....... Thanks, Ricordo, unbelievable effort!!
