5.0 out of 5 stars Dark and awesome, October 26, 2005
This review is from: Viscera (Audio CD)
From what I can tell, God Module generally puts out some pretty high quality albums and dance-floor industrial. I've heard some of their other stuff on DigitalGunfire, and really like a lot of it. So, after listening to the samples on their websiter, I liked what I heard and decided to buy this album.

Well, it lived up to my expectations! The beginning (like the first 7-9 songs) is awesome, in my humble opinion. The lyrics are well written, and the tunes are driving. I especially like Sections and Still So Strange. Track 10, however, I really dislike. And unfortunately, track 11 usually dosen't make up for it, and I end up with a sort of sour opinion (Track 11 is great too, though). But for the other songs I definitely reccomend this CD.

Oh, and the CD art is really high-quality with a great surreal aspect.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best industrial albums I have ever heard, November 7, 2008
This review is from: Viscera (Audio CD)
VISCERA is my first God Module cd. I recently acquired a copy of it because I was curious to hear their music. It goes without saying VISCERA is one of the best albums in the industrial/EBM genre I have ever heard. God Module successfully weaves addictively infectious pop hooks with their in your face, aggressive industrial beats and vocals. Jasyn Bangert reminded me a lot like Johan from Suicide Commando and Bryan Erickson of Velvet Acid Christ with his distorted vocals. VISCERA starts off with a massive amount of energy with "The Source" and never slows down through out the album. All eleven tracks kicks major tail. They are full of energy and aggression as well as melodies to keep the listener engaged. There is not one single song on the album that I did not like. After hearing VISCERA, I am definitely plan on checking out the band's other albums. They made a new fan out of me.

This is the best album thus far by God Module. Some of the other albums are just ok...but this one has everything good about this band. Hard thumping terror ebm.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still God Mod's Best, August 6, 2009

A cross of EBM dance music and the Goth culture with an infusion of 3rd generation industrial. It's hard to put a label on the fantastic music God Module creates; a label other than what they call it, and that is: SPOOKY DANCE MUSIC! If you are a fan of The Cure, Combichrist, NIN, MM, or just looking for great and DARK music, check out this Spooky Trio. This was the first album I have ever heard by God Module, and it is still the best in my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars They totally earned the 5, December 29, 2006
This review is from: Viscera (Audio CD)
You really can't go wrong with God Module. In my opinon, they are one of the few newer industrial bands to be passed the torches in industrial music. Which speaks volumes when the scene is fading fast.
Virtually every song is perfection. When I heard god mods cover of the Cures "A Night Like This", I practically crea-... well, nevermind...but you get the picture. If You can get your hands on the limited edition of this album your even luckier. God Module deserves no less than 5 stars no matter what the album.
