The Arctic Butterfly has a brush suitable for cleaning delicate optics with conducting bristles to help remove statically charged debris. The brush can be spun using a battery-powered motor to remove the debris from the bristles. (You never spin the brush against the object you are cleaning.) Spinning helps eliminate some problems with brush contamination and speeds the cleaning process. This particular kit contains four different brushes: an APS-sized sensor brush (about a half-inch wide and about the size of the standard Arctic Butterfly brush); a sensor brush that is about 3/4 in wide; a sensor brush almost an inch wide, and a mirror brush about an inch wide exactly matching the size of an APS-C camera's mirror. The APS brush is supposed to be stored on the motor. There is one small plastic adaptor for adapting each brush to the motor (not sure why that was necessary).

I've used an Arctic Butterfly brush many times before on both APS-C sensors and on a full-frame sensor. It is very convenient to be able to run the brush over the sensor a couple of times, hold it away from the camera and spin it, and then run it over the sensor again. You may wisely be asking whether you need all these different-sized brushes just for sensors. I don't really see the need, even if you have different sized sensors as I do. It is nice to have a separate brush for the mirror, and that was what made me buy. I don't like to let a sensor brush touch anything but a sensor. I've used the same brush on APS-C and full-frame sensors with no problem. Only the APS-C brush in this kit is small enough for an APS-C sensor. The larger brushes are definitely too large for an APS-C sensor. If you want to have multiple brushes for spares and are worried about the spares being too big, don't be.

I've owned and used the Artic Butterfly for approx. 2-3 years. It works well, but is not going to completely clean everything off your sensor all the time. This product works well as part of a total cleaning system. When you need quick touch ups/cleanings this product does a good job. I also found that a sensor scope used in conjunction with the Artic Butterfly is indispensible in locating the dust bunnies. Caution should be taken to ensure you never brush against the sensor sides where oil is and never accidently spin it to release static while in the camera. The instructions are a quick read and you'll love the ease of use. For the price the build quality could be better, but it has lasted and been problem free and is in fact effective.

I used the Artic Butterfly for 2 years now--I find it to be very effective at picking up the light dust that always enters your camera from lens changing. You do have to be careful not to touch area of your camera body that have oil as you insert the brush to your sensor or you're looking at having to do a wet-clean. The Butterfly will do the job for most dust, but sometimes you have do a full sensor-swap clean for stubborn dust. Still I recommend this product

Received from vendor and seemed like it had been a returned unit by the way it was packaged. But close inspection seemed to reveal that the unit is okay. The box pictured actually comes within a case that can store other cleaning implements so its kind of nice to be able and consolidate your cleaning materials.
Using it to clean an APC Nikon D300 sensor, mirror and focusing screen. So far seems to work well.
Note that there are perhaps more brushes with this than you might think you need unless you have multiple different cameras, but actually the selection turns out to be a good thing as it allows you to have more options.
Pricey.
No instructions or tips and no warranty card or registration. I don't get it with manufactures… I guess you have to Google it… again.

I'm an a stickler when it comes to cleaning my sensors. The price fooled me, and after watching all my sensors on my Nikon D3s get little white scratches across them when barely swiping them with the brush as shown in the video, I wasn't happy.
I also tried picking up lint by static charge which is what these are all about, and it doesn't work.
Stick with Swabs and solution. I wasted my money on this product
