At first I was thinking that this must be like the aircraft from the now defunct 21st century toys but with the fun of building it. Not even close. This is a wonderful model, and the detail of the parts, fit, and detail painting of usually hidden parts makes this kit stand out from anything else I've seen. Removeable panels to see framework, ribs, and spars. The detailed gun, and super detailed engiines all make this shine. I truly hope this company stays afloat and continues to produce these kits, and even expand their lineup. Hummm perhaps an A-4 Skyhawk?....

Do not get tricked by its toy looks!!!

Me and my brother (28 and 26) got a couple of F-14s as a Christmas present from my dad and at first when we saw the box we were a little bit disappointed...It looked so much as a toy and not as a model....

After building it I realize that the quality of this toy was WAY MUCH better than expected!!!

It is a very nice model and with so much possibilities to make it better and better by weathering or by re painting it!

My F/14 looks stunning now!!! I added so much detail and effort that I am so satisfied with the product...
Never mind the see through parts...you can close them by gluing!

Trust me is really worth it!!

When I served in the Navy, this was the plane and most people knew it on sight. Having been in the Navy I saw this plane torn down and in many stages of repair. When I put this model together it took me back to the early 90's. I remember seeing engines outside of the planes all the time, panels lifted up while a sailor looked at the electronics. If you know anyone who's ever worked on one of these grand jets, buy them this. It'll bring back lots of memories.

The model is pretty easy to put together, with easy to follow instructions. No glue or paint is required but you can use either if you want to.
