I am an OT student and this book was recommended to me as a good reference book by an OT I was volunteering for. I was required to purchase this book for a Cognition and Perception course I currently am taking. It is easy to read, very detailed and a well organized.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful Reference, August 29, 2010

As an entry level OT, I often use this book to help me better understand the nature of the deficits experienced by my patients with cognitive, visual,or perceptual problems. Although I haven't made it through the entire book, I've found it to be well outlined and detailed. I definitely feel more confident in my treatment approach and explaining the deficits to patients and their families. The topic matter is definitely advanced level material, but overall highly recommended if you have an interest in vision, cognition, and perception.
