5.0 out of 5 stars Cutting Room! December 5, 2013
By JoB
Format:Audio CD
This album is super rare, I purchased a copy from France, but it was well worth it. Between Wilson & Hitchings there is definitely a style change but in here, Damian shines. Along with the rest of the line up, the songs here are catchy and proggy. The album as a whole is masterful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Landmarq - Solid Neo Prog With A Hint Of Metal August 4, 2007
Format:Audio CD
Landmarq are a neo progressive rock outfit out of England that follow along a similar musical path as their brethren Arena, Pendragon. In fact "The Vision Pit" was produced by Arena / Pendragon keys man Clive Nolan. The original version of Landmarq (found on this album) feature the powerful vocals of Damien Wilson who would go on to work with Threshold, Ayreon, Star One, and numerous theatrical projects. The music is similar in style to other Nolan related projects although Nolan himself does not play on the album. The music is pretty much driving neo prog with a hint of metal here and there. The musicians are all very good and the songwriting is quite good for the most part. My favorite tracks include "Pinewood Avenue", "All Performers Stand Alone", "Hanblechia" and "Cutting Room". This album appears to out of print and I have seen it listed on Amazon as selling for $170 used. No way is it worth that kind of money, but if you can find it at a decent price this is a decent album.
